Chardonnay Henry is the Founder of Autism Axis Network and a dedicated advocate for children on the autism spectrum. Her journey into the field began after her nephew was diagnosed with autism, an experience that inspired her to pursue a deeper understanding of communication and developmental support.

Motivated by that experience, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where she developed a strong foundation in speech, language, and developmental intervention.

Since 2011, Chardonnay has worked with individuals on the autism spectrum across therapeutic and educational settings, supporting communication development, behavioral growth, and adaptive skill development. As both a parent of a child on the spectrum and a professional in the field, she brings a compassionate and informed perspective to her work.

Through Autism Axis Network, Chardonnay is committed to bridging the gap between therapeutic support and educational success. Her work focuses on developing structured, evidence-informed programs that promote communication development, independence, and meaningful progress for children and families.

Her long-term vision is to establish a specialized therapeutic school that integrates behavioral, communication, and life-skills programming to support students with autism who benefit from highly structured learning environments.

In the meantime, Autism Axis Network is building collaborative partnerships with schools and community organizations to pilot structured therapeutic programs that support students within existing educational settings.
